Mobile Trade Area

Our trade areas are unique to your site and built off of visitors' Pathing, Common Evening Location and Common Daytime Location.

Methodology

The Mobile Trade Area is a mobile-derived geographic area that a location draws its visitors from. While traditional trade areas use a standard 1-3-5 mile radius ring or drive time to identify potential visitors, a mobile trade area identifies actual visitors to the property to form its shape.

The Mobile Trade Area is derived using an equal weighting of visitors’ Pathing, Common Evening Location, and Common Daytime Location points to draw a core trade area around the study location. There must be a minimum of 38 visitors to the location for a shape to render.
