Jobs in Data Explorer can vary greatly depending upon the size of the study area, the number of locations included in the study area and the type of reports requested. Some reports, like Foot Traffic, Location Visitor and Audience/Behavioral reports can complete as fast as 3-5 minutes for single locations for a year of data.
Derived reports, or reports which need extra screening (like Retail Heartbeat, Location Affinity, Pathing reports, OGS reports) can take longer. Some jobs with thousands of large polygons, long periods of time, with complicated reports have taken as long as 10 days to finish processing.
In general, though, there are no hard and fast rules here, which is why we offer both a notification by email and the ability to programmatically specify a callback URL in an API request.
